2017 Growing Season Comes to an End

September 2017:  We have had two freezes now, about 28-30 degrees F, so the gardens will be resting now until next spring!

Overall, it was a great growing season!  Started out in June with lots of rain and ended up in September with lots of rain. In between, in July & August, we had very little precipitation and above average temperatures.

We were able to provide many dahlias, annuals, and perennials flowers for bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres , arches, table arrangements; all lovely additions for those wedding flower choices.  Enjoyed making each and every bride’s & groom’s day special with locally grown flowers and heart felt designs!  Congrats to each and every one of you and best wishes for your new life together!
